To the sound of the waves, Aurore au fil du temps (Aurore over time) shares the highs and lows of her adolescence from the aged of 12 to 17.

Aurore’s life revolves around her parents, who came to live in the country by the sea in the hope of changing their lives; Marie, an adorable old lady who lives next door and Pierre, a university student who has come to live there for a few months as he recovers from cancer. Little by little, fighting the shame of seeing her parents become poor workers and convinced that her mother is having an affair with Pierre, the teenager locks herself into silence and solitude, only blooming when she studies maths.
