Plot
Winter 1919. After fighting for France for four
years, soldiers from Bizkarsoro
(Lower Navarre, France) have returned to the front. With the pretext of
teaching children to read and write, the local school forbids its pupils
children to speak Basque through punishment and humiliation. Children who speak
Basque in school are
marked out with an object called ANTI.
